The questions behind the product.
We’re interested in ingredients long before there’s a product. The Institute is where we keep our ingredient research, field notes and what we’ve learned along the way. Every ingredient, an exhibit: origin, history, traditional knowledge, chemistry, and the honest state of the evidence.
We check before we claim.
A clinical paper on an extract doesn’t tell you what a drink, a different part of the plant or an unspecified dose will do. So every dossier records the same seven fields, and says which studies we read and which work we did or commissioned ourselves.

Discovery is a responsibility. We work with the farmers and communities who have known these plants the longest, and we describe what we actually do about sourcing rather than what we hope to.
Nature already knows. We listen.
What has to be ready before an Amazon launch?
The intake list we use ourselves: rights, records, dimensions, shelf life, cash.
What Byarozavik taught us about introducing an unfamiliar drink
Sampling beats explaining. A cooler placement is a promise you have to keep stocked.
What an Amazon market test can and cannot tell you
Twenty orders from four hundred sessions is a finding, not a verdict.
Each note is published when it is written, with a named author, a date and its evidence.
Three centuries of people who looked closely.
Merian sailed to Suriname at 52 and painted what she found. Blackwell drew five hundred medicinal plants to get her husband out of debtors’ prison. Marianne North painted in the field on five continents. We keep their plates as a standard, and as company.

Tell us what it is, where it grows and what is already known. We start with the evidence, and say plainly what it supports.
